Social ethics helps the world run. Social ethics is people making moral decisions that impact their community. People need courage, justice, temperance and rationality in order to understand social ethics. There are lots of systems that requires social ethics such as media, education, marketing etc. One of the big ethic systems of the world is the virtual life which means the digital world. An easier word would be the Internet. The Internet has different aspects, positive and negative and we must learn to be aware of the negative side because who knows what is watching you? Who knows what they are going to do to you? We all do........ if we are all aware of the dangers online.
How can Internet harm our life? The Internet can harm our life by impacting individuals.
Many people enjoy surfing on the Internet because it is quick and easy to find the information they need. However, there can be a lot of dangers you face using the Internet:
If you share private information on the net your privacy can be threatened. You might get disrespectful comments and people can use your information in a wrong way.
Our private information can be opened by somebody who might use it to harm us in different ways such as hooking* or horsing*.
We can be cheated during many online trading and banking. If you give your bank account number to an unsafe website, people might use the information to steal money from you.

How has the Internet changed to make it safer ? The Internet changed to become safer for their users by getting new security systems.
The Internet can be the safest place on earth or the most dangerous place on earth, depending on the user’s safety system.
People have developed encryption on the Internet. It is like a word coding for e-mails, chatting and online journeys to prevent others from looking at your private/personal information.There are also security certificates, which is a cyber key that encrypts messages and decrypts encrypted messages.
Computer vaccine is a curing program for a computer. It detects viruses and cures viruses in a computer system.
People also have developed a program called spam filtering that detects unwanted e-mails and prevents them from getting into your account.
People made a set of related programs called firewall to protect their privacy from the outsiders.
Cyber policemen sit and watch the Internet for a whole day, searching for culprits that do the negative side of the Internet.

Different people use the Internet for different purposes
People use the Internet to make their jobs quicker and easier. The Internet can be used to be a communicational purposes, to store and calculate data, to chat and post notes on the Internet.
Others use the Internet for other values such as entertainment, to watch movies, play games, make and listen to music and to chat.
Some people in the world aren't using the Internet appropriately by hacking, phishing and sending viruses.
